Very unique art.My children like using chalk but they finish them soon.
It is really neat to see the process they go through and how these amazing images develop… patience is important.
That’s so clever! Dry weather absolutely essential!
The festival started on the Saturday morning and on the Sunday morning there was a sudden, unexpected thunderstorm and most had to start from scratch… which was too bad – of course Sunday night they were all covered and taped down..
Beautifully composed, Sheila!
thank you Ted – the chalk lying there was just so colourful…
Beautiful. Having been influenced by Disney as a child , I expect to be able to jump into a chalk art and have an adventure.
thanks… what do you mean? we can’t ?
I like this shot. Very nice!
thanks very much Content Guy!!! glad to see you again.
I love how you shot this picture, especially with the crayons on the side. Great artist too, it is so inspiring to see all the talent and creativity that constantly surrounds us.
thank you Carola. there was no one around and the chalk just looked so colourful lying there….
Beautiful colours (love them) and interesting composition! Well done!
thanks itlana… it’s a really great event that people seem to enjoy – everyone likes something different and there’s a big variety of subject matter.
Stunning picture, Sheila – the ghostly chalk face on its own is sensational, but the loose chalks on the ground really add something here – as does the rough and pebbly nature of the ground. Superb! Adrian
thank you!
Great picture… I really like the composition and colors! 🙂
thank you nicole. they were all amazing artists at the chalk festival – quite a fun art form.
