This is an image from my backyard last week (taken with my Galaxy SIII phone) when it had a carpet of red, orange and yellow leaves. This morning, after very high winds from Sandy, there are lots of small branches down and the leaves are now more brown.

gorgeous
thank you Jesse!
Thanks for the reminder. Or garden chairs and table will go into the cellar this weekend.
you’re welcome! I know we have the same job to do before the snow flies.
Such a pretty photo. Love the contrast.
thanks. it was nice to see such a variety of color. it has been a long fall this year.
Lovely shot Sheila. Glad no further damage to your place than that.
thanks eremophila – we lucked out unlike the east coast of the US.
These chairs beg to be photographed. I have succumbed many times, but never with such a gorgeous carpet, nor so well framed either. I’m going to have to try this angle sometime.
they certainly are photogenic… and comfortable. I could not resist with the leaves looking so nice. thanks so much for your nice comments.
Ontario Fall carpet. The combination of the chair & leaves capture the transition of seasons and the mixed emotions that accompany it, after the circus show is over. 🙂
